Booking, Airfare & Payment Policies

Please read before booking. These policies summarize important airfare, payment, cancellation, and schedule-change terms. They should be read together with the GoAfriNest General Terms & Conditions and the terms of applicable airlines and travel suppliers.

1. Airfare Pricing, Schedule Changes & Cancellations

Airfare pricing and availability

Airfare included in a GoAfriNest package is based on airline pricing, taxes, fees, and availability at the time the package is quoted. Airline prices can change at any time.

Your airfare is not locked in until the required payment has been received and the airline has issued and confirmed the ticket. If the fare increases before ticketing, you may pay the difference or, where available, convert your reservation to a Land-Only package.

After your ticket is issued

Once ticketed, your airfare generally will not change, except where an airline or government imposes a new or increased tax or fee that may lawfully be passed on to the traveler.

Airline changes, delays and cancellations

Airlines control their own schedules, routes, aircraft, departure times, and operational decisions. GoAfriNest will make reasonable efforts to assist when disruptions occur, but we do not control the airline.

• Airline delays, missed connections, or carrier-initiated schedule changes may affect your trip.
• Extra lodging, meals, transportation, or similar costs caused by an airline disruption are generally the traveler’s responsibility unless covered or reimbursed by the airline, applicable law, or travel insurance.

Traveler cancellations

Airfare included in a package may be restrictive, non-refundable, and non-transferable once ticketed. Airline cancellation or change fees are separate from any GoAfriNest ground-package fees. Any airline credit or refund is governed by the airline’s applicable fare rules and contract of carriage.

We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance with appropriate Trip Cancellation and Trip Interruption coverage.

2. Airline Seat Selection & Class Upgrades

Standard package seating

Unless your itinerary or invoice says otherwise, package airfare includes standard economy-class travel. A specific seat assignment is not guaranteed unless confirmed by the airline.

Upgrade requests

You may request a quote for Premium Economy, Business Class, First Class, extra-legroom seating, or a preferred seat such as aisle or window, subject to airline availability.

Upgrade quotes

Upgrade pricing is based on live airline availability and can change quickly. Unless otherwise stated on your quote, an upgrade quote is valid for up to 4 hours.

Payment

Accepted upgrade charges will appear separately on your invoice and must be paid promptly so we can attempt to secure the requested seat or cabin. An upgrade is not confirmed until ticketed or otherwise confirmed by the airline. Once purchased, upgrade and seat fees are subject to the airline’s refund and change rules.

3. Deposit & Payment Terms

Required deposit

To reserve your package, a deposit of $950 or 20% of the package price per person, as specified on your booking invoice, is required at booking. The applicable amount should be clearly stated before payment.

Unless otherwise stated in writing or required by applicable law, the deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable because GoAfriNest may immediately commit funds toward airfare, accommodations, transportation, and other trip arrangements.

When airfare costs more than the standard deposit

If the real-time airfare required for your booking exceeds the initial deposit collected, GoAfriNest may require an additional airfare payment before tickets can be issued. Once ticketed, the airfare payment is governed by the airline’s applicable fare and cancellation rules.

Final payment

Unless your booking states an earlier deadline, the remaining package balance is due no later than 30 days before departure. Failure to pay by the deadline may result in cancellation of your reservation and forfeiture of non-refundable amounts already committed or paid, subject to applicable law and supplier terms.

Travel insurance

Because portions of your trip may become non-refundable as reservations are made, we strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance, including appropriate Trip Cancellation, Trip Interruption, Emergency Medical, and evacuation coverage.

4. Airline Schedule Changes Affecting Ground Arrangements

Air and ground services are separate supplier components

GoAfriNest may combine airfare, hotels, lodges, transportation, tours, and other services into one package. However, airlines and ground suppliers remain subject to their own schedules, contracts, cancellation rules, and availability.

If your arrival or departure changes

If an airline changes or cancels a flight and your arrival or departure changes, GoAfriNest will make reasonable efforts to adjust affected ground arrangements.

If a hotel, lodge, transport provider, or other supplier charges a date-change fee, no-show fee, private-transfer supplement, or other additional amount because of the airline disruption, that additional cost may be the traveler’s responsibility unless recoverable from the airline, supplier, or travel insurer.

Unused trip components

Subject to applicable law and supplier terms, GoAfriNest generally cannot refund package components that become unused or forfeited because of an airline delay, cancellation, or schedule change when the underlying supplier does not provide a refund or credit. We will reasonably assist you in identifying available supplier remedies or documentation for an insurance claim.

5. Installment & Payment Plan Terms

Eligibility

Optional installment plans may be available for qualifying packages booked at least 120 days before departure. To begin a payment plan, you must pay the required non-refundable deposit and accept the installment schedule provided with your booking.

Airfare ticketing

Airline seats generally cannot be held indefinitely. Unless GoAfriNest expressly confirms otherwise, airfare will not be ticketed until the amount received is sufficient to purchase the applicable flight at the then-current price.

If airfare increases before sufficient funds are available to ticket the flight, the package price may need to be adjusted. GoAfriNest will disclose the updated fare before collecting an additional amount attributable to the increase.

Late installment payments

Installments are due on the dates shown in your payment schedule. A 5-business-day grace period applies unless your booking states otherwise. If an installment remains unpaid after that period, GoAfriNest may cancel the reservation and release reserved space. Any refund or forfeiture will be determined by the non-refundable amounts already committed, the applicable supplier terms, these policies, and applicable law.

Final balance

Regardless of the installment plan selected, the final balance is due no later than 30 days before departure unless your booking specifies an earlier deadline. If the balance is not paid, the booking may be cancelled and non-refundable amounts may be forfeited in accordance with the applicable supplier and booking terms.

6. Important Customer Acknowledgment

By making a payment toward a GoAfriNest booking, you acknowledge that you have been given access to the applicable booking, airfare, payment, and cancellation terms. Supplier-specific restrictions may also apply and will control the supplier’s own service.

GoAfriNest recommends that travelers review their invoice and itinerary carefully, ask questions before making payment, and purchase appropriate travel insurance as early as possible.
